When tried for booking a budget hotel in Malvan we came across Hotel Sagar Kinara as it was the only hotel which displayed some good images about their hotels. So without any further delay we booked two rooms in Hotel Sagar Kinara Malvan near Sindhudurga fort. After we checked in we decided to have some rest before venturing out. In the evening went to the Malvan city center purchased some required stuff and went straight away on a round trip of Tarkarli beach, Chiwala beach and Tondavali beach. The Tarkarli beach which is around six km from Malvan had crystal clear water and it was one of the hot spot for snorkeling and scuba diving. The convergence of Karli River with the Arabian Sea is the most spectacular scene. Next morning we went to the Sindhudurg fort for trekking.

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Sagar Kinara, Malvan and enjoyed its popular Malvani sea food. The hotel was very comfortable because of its proximity to the city as well as the beaches of Malvan. Upon request the hotel staff also arranged Dolphin Safari for us. The unexpected halt at Malvan and stay at Hotel Sagar Kinara was a unique experience, which was pleasure to remember. Exactly on the third day we were back on our journey back to Mumbai, but Malvan was still appeasing before our eyes.
